Terms of Service

1) Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the Service.
• CollPad currently supports Google Sign-In only. When you sign in with Google, you authorize us to use your Google account information for authentication and to identify you within the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it.

2) Workspaces & Your Content

You may create or join a workspace to collaborate with others. You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant CollPad a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service and to provide features you enable.

You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to submit Your Content, and that Your Content and use of the Service comply with these Terms and applicable law.

3) Integrations & Permissions

• The Service may integrate with third-party platforms you choose to connect (e.g., Google Drive, Facebook Pages). You control whether to enable or revoke these integrations at any time.
• By enabling an integration, you instruct CollPad to exchange relevant data with that platform in accordance with your configuration and our Privacy Policy.
• CollPad is not responsible for third-party services and their policies. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

4) Acceptable Use

• No unlawful, infringing, or harmful activities.
• No unauthorized access, probing, or interference with the Service or its infrastructure.
• No uploading of malware or content that violates third-party rights or privacy.
• No attempts to circumvent security, rate limits, or access controls.

5) Plans, Trials & Changes

During the MVP phase, aspects of the Service may be offered at no charge or with limited features. We may introduce paid plans and modify features, limits, or pricing in the future. We will provide notice of material changes in a reasonable manner (e.g., in-app notice or email).

6) AI-Assisted Features

Some features may use third-party AI services to generate suggestions or assist with content creation. You are responsible for reviewing outputs for accuracy and appropriateness. Do not submit sensitive or confidential information unless you understand and accept the associated risks and the applicable third-party terms and privacy policies.

7) Availability & Support

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, or outages may occur. We may provide support on a best-effort basis and may update or discontinue features at our discretion.

8) Term & Termination

• These Terms remain in effect while you access or use the Service.
• You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete workspaces or revoke integrations through Settings (subject to data retention described in our Privacy Policy).
• We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or for other legitimate reasons.

9) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. You may have additional rights under applicable law, which these Terms do not override where prohibited.

10) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COLLPAD AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.

11) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CollPad and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, business needs, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in-app notice or email). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13) Miscellaneous

• If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and CollPad regarding the Service and supersede prior or contemporaneous agreements on the subject matter.
• Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
